We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC Lathe and Milling machines. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience with Mori Fanuc 18 systems and horizontal machining.
Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload parts into fixtures for machining.

Operate CNC machines in accordance with established instructions.

Perform tool setups and manage repeat jobs.

Deburr and clean machined parts.

Suggest improvements to production instructions for enhanced quality and efficiency.

Record job entries, including initials and dates, on job route sheets.

Notify the supervisor of equipment malfunctions, material discrepancies, or production issues.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Adhere to all safety regulations.

Self-manage and prioritize tasks effectively.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:

Ability to effectively and efficiently perform all essential duties.

Strong self-direction and time management skills.
Language Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting complex documents.

Ability to respond effectively to inquiries and communicate with management and team members.
Mathematical Skills:

Strong capacity to apply logical and scientific reasoning to solve problems.

Proficient in interpreting and using formulas, equations, and other symbolic data.
Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must regularly lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
