Mr. John Buckridge is currently serving as the Executive Chairman of Turbine Engine Specialists Holdings, LLC and as Chief Executive Officer of Integra-Cast, Inc., portfolio companies of the Edgewater Funds.
Previously, Mr. Buckridge served as the President of Berkshire Hathaway’s Marmon Group Aerospace and Metal Services Division. He led the business unit operations and acquisition strategy for a global portfolio across 45 locations in 8 countries. Under his leadership, the division managed numerous acquisitions and grew revenue dramatically to $1.3 billion. Prior to taking the role of Group President in 2020, Mr. Buckridge held several leadership roles within the portfolio spanning manufacturing, distribution and repair and maintenance services.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway’s Marmon Group, Mr. Buckridge was a Managing Director of the Tubular Systems Division at B/E Aerospace. B/E Aerospace is a global manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products for both commercial aircraft and business jets. Mr. Buckridge joined B/E Aerospace when it acquired Altis Aero Systems, a company Mr. Buckridge founded. During his tenure at B/E Aerospace Mr. Buckridge led several acquisitions and integrations significantly contributing to the company’s growth.
Mr. Buckridge studied English and Engineering at the University of New Haven and the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He then joined the US Navy, where he served for five years. Following his military service, Mr. Buckridge earned a Certificate in Executive Negotiation from both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard Law School as well as the completion of an Executive Leadership Training at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Mr. Buckridge serves on the board of Operation Socrates, a non-profit that places former military personnel at underserved schools to support and mentor students. He is also a consultant with G Force Technologies, a division of Goodwill that employs veterans and people with disabilities.
